This incredible lady reached out to me towards the end of last year to grab a coffee and a chat - and I'm so so glad I did! She's such an inspiration with the work she is doing in Johannesburg - uniting women in a safe space to tell their stories.

I love this blurb that I just stumbled across on her Facebook page:

"Every time we host one of these evenings, I find myself getting a little bolder and a little braver with the content. Why? Because when I meet with women one-on-one, I hear pain, I hear loneliness, I hear struggle. And that's not the worst part! The worst part is that most of these women think they are alone in their struggle: "It's just me." They look around on FB and IG and they think every other woman has a very pretty life. Here at She Gathers, we are pulling back the curtain just a little, speaking the truth, even if our voice shakes, and extending a wide, warm welcome."
